Technical Assistance
We provide technical assistance through a collaborative, relationship-based model of support designed to identify and develop solutions to the challenges faced by CAPP and PREP providers.TA/Evaluation Support Team
Each CAPP and PREP provider has an ACT for Youth support team comprised of a TA team member and an Evaluation team member. The TA team member is the primary contact.
To identify your support team, see TA/Evaluation Support Teams below.
Website
Health Educator Supervisors: With resources on implementation, supervision, and evaluation, the CAPP and PREP section of the website is designed to meet the needs of Health Education Supervisors. Be sure to take a tour through each page of the CAPP and PREP section so that you are aware of every tool available to you.
Educators: Frontline educators will also find many useful resources in this section and elsewhere on the ACT for Youth website. We recommend that Educators begin on this page:
Blog: The Hub!
The Hub is a blog for CAPP and PREP project staff. Here we answer common questions we've been hearing from providers, and pass along tools and hot tips to help you get your job done. We encourage you to comment, post your questions, and share your ideas! (On your first post, please include your agency. Your first post will need to be approved, but subsequent posts from that email address will go through automatically. This helps us eliminate spam from the comments.)

Learning Community Meetings
The TA team brings together learning communities focused on certain topics or the needs of particular audiences. These learning communities meet via Zoom on a regular basis to share resources and strategies. The groups and areas of focus have evolved over the years. In spring of 2022, the following groups are meeting: BPBR/MPC, New Educator, Self-Care and Burnout Prevention, Supervisor, and TOP. To learn more about learning communities, contact your TA provider.

Online Courses
ACT for Youth has created two web-based courses for CAPP and PREP. The goal of Implementing Evidence-Based Programs is to increase participants' knowledge of evidence-based programs and their implementation, and to develop their ability to deliver these programs with quality. This course is required for CAPP and PREP educators and recommended for Health Educator Supervisors. The Health Educator Supervisor Training focuses on the critical role played by supervisors and offers background and tools for success.
Once you have your log-in information, you can access the courses at the links below. Health Educator Supervisors can request log-ins for themselves and their educators for either or both courses by completing this form: Request log-in for online courses.

Evaluation
Each provider has an Evaluation contact as part of their support team. While the TA team member is the primary contact, providers may also contact the Evaluation team member directly for questions about the online reporting system, CAPP pre-post survey administration, and PREP entry and exit surveys. In addition, a great deal of information and tools are available online:The Online Reporting System
